Kosher food on plane it not something rare and difficult to get. Those people who travel lot, know already how it is possible to order kosher food to eat on airplane board.
We decided to collect information about various airlines, how it is possible to order kosher food. We foresee a number of posts with detailed list of airlines serving kosher food on flight.

Austrian Airlines

Company offer kosher food for flight meals.
You can order your special meal along with your flight booking:

  • at your travel agency
  • on austrian.com

Your special meal can also be booked at a later time online via My Bookings or by calling the Austrian Service Center.
Kosher Meal prepared strictly according to the rules of the Talmud by an authorised kosher caterer and brought on board fully sealed.
Please note: ordering a kosher meal requires a lead time of 48 hours before departure

Delta Airlinesp>Company offers kosher food option for flight meal. You need to request meals at least 48 hours prior the flight via MyTrips Special Service Requests or call 404-209-3434 to make arrangements for your special meal.
Kosher meals are prepared by kosher caterers under rabbinical supervision and may also incorporate fresh fruit or sealed items, such as individually packaged bagels that meet kosher laws. Special Kosher for Passover meals are supplied during Passover.

Note, that kosher food is not available:

  • on flights originating from ELP, ABQ, or TUS. Special meal offerings may vary depending upon regional catering availabilities
  • on flights to or from ROR and SPN
  • on flights from CTG, LIM, UIO and BOG

AEGEANp>Greek company offers kosher food for flight meals.
Kosher food should be requested at least 24 prior to departure:

  • during your ticket reservation, b) after your ticket reservation through our Call Centre
  • by filling in your Miles+Bonus member ID during your ticket reservation
  • check-in (provided that you have selected a special meal preference on your Miles+Bonus account).

Note that special meals are available only on international flights operated by Aegean.
