Riga is famous for a truly wonderful architecture and especially Art-Nouveau gems.

The synagogue Peitav-Shul is named after Peitav street and is located in Old Riga. It is the only Riga synagogue, which has survived the Holocaust. Currently Peitav-shul is not only one active in the city, there is also Chabad house, which also gathers minyan.
